Ward and Ward Mental Health Services, Inc. is comprised of a team of multi-disciplinary professionals dedicated to the diagnosis.

The main objective of the program is to provide high quality therapeutic treatment homes and support services for a wide variety of physical, mental and neurological disorders. A concerted effort is made to accept the multi-handicapped, severe cases and the hard-to-manage clients often rejected by other treatment houses and facilities of its kind.

Realizing the heavy financial burden imposed by therapeutic treatment, the homes attempt to provide needed services in a cost-effective manner.

To reach its main objective, the homes aspire to provide its individuals with as normal a living environment as can be achieved in a community setting.

Ward and Ward Mental Health Services, Inc. has been in business since 1978. Since 1978 we were the first organization to open group homes in the Washington, D.C. area. Our treatment homes and apartments are located throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. Our homes are indistinguishable from home occupied by others in the community. The location of the homes is congruent with current emphasis on a least restrictive environment and independent living.
Since 1978, the individual population, staff size, staff organization and treatment modalities have multiplied. Family and agency involvement has increased as well. Ward and Ward has received many certificates and awards for outstanding services provided for it individuals and the community.

Ward and Ward encourages concerned citizens and groups to visit and provide consumer input. The community must abide with safeguards set for the protection of our individuals rights, confidentiality and privacy.
